Having retired as a Professor of Plant Sciences, Anne now creates decorative and domestic pottery at her home studio in Torrisdale, East Kintyre. Wheel-thrown and hand-building techniques are applied to create unique pieces from earthenware, stoneware and terracotta. Anne’s work is inspired by seasonal changes in the textures and colours of the rock pools and coastal landscapes of East Kintyre. Anne’s work is exhibited and sold at The Old Schoolhouse Gallery in Carradale, open April-Sept, Thurs-Mon 11:30am -4 pm (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100092328048418)
