Ian uses the potter's wheel to craft unique and decorative mugs, pots and plates, while Chris loves handbuilding, decorating and choosing the glaze to fit each piece.
All pieces are made from high fire stoneware clay, glazed with leadfree food safe glazes and fired to vitrification in an electric kiln.
They are currently developing a range of artistic pieces which will incorporate the cultural influences of their respective birthplaces and their multicultural connections and Scotland, where they made their home.
Chris and Ian work from their small batch studio near Fort William, on the West Coast of Scotland. They have 2 gorgeous, rescued studio dogs called Abby and Lewis, who constantly try to get their heads into the slop buckets!
