Kathryn works from her studio in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria where she creates ceramic sculpture for inside and outside your home. Connecting with the viewer to tell a personal story of belonging and the narrative of place, her work is inspired by the natural and industrial landscape of Cumbria. Formulating her own clay body and glaze recipes using local raw materials evidences the area's geological formation, helping to cement her work in the field of narrative ceramics.
