I take my inspiration from the natural elements around me - the landscape and black basalt rock formations of the Scottish shoreline and western isles. Spending my summers on Skye as a child, I still feel drawn to the raw energy of this beautiful place. My work is hand built and thrown from stoneware and Raku clay. Fired in a raku kiln.
