I have always enjoyed art and found my love of clay when I attended a clay class over 2O years ago under the guidance of a lovely artist in Comrie, since then I have combined this with work, family and I am now lucky enough to have a studio in the garden complete with my wheel and a kiln.   I love having time in the studio, taking a piece of clay and transforming it into something unique and beautiful.  It is a wonderful craft to explore and there is always so much to learn and so many surprises in how a piece turns out.  Of late I have been spending most of my time on the wheel, throwing functional pieces and experimenting with different glazes.

Sculpture is another thrilling way to work with clay, it is more relaxed and a piece can take months (or years!!) to complete, so there are fewer examples of my work.
