Spring Workshop Demonstrator Anna Lambert
Tulliallan 2017 Demonstrator Profile Anna Lambert
Anna Lambert works with hand-built earthenware, using a range of techniques including altered clay slabs, modelling and underglaze painting. She also uses various simple printing techniques to decorate her work.
Anna has studied Ceramics at Bath Academy and University of Central Lancaster. Since then she has been a fulltime maker of hand-built earthenware and she shares her North Yorkshire studio with painter David Thomas.
She has had many solo exhibitions including The Scottish Gallery and Contemporary Ceramics London. She has also exhibited in galleries in Europe and USA. She is a fellow of Craft Potters Association.
‘My hand-built earthenware ceramics reflect a connection with my locality and to the fragile and constantly changing environment, responding to places as diverse as wild bleak moorland and bird filled hedgerows.’
There are so many different ways to approach Tulliallan that the best thing is to give you a map. Please note that parking for the SPA weekend is at No 3, ie on the Parade Square and at no other place mentioned. Reception is also at the Parade Square, and not at No 4.
IMPORTANT: PLEASE NOTE There are ongoing roadworks on Kincardine Bridge until the end of March and there may be delays because of single file traffic. Traffic Scotland information
If you are coming from the south and west, you may prefer to use the Clackmannan Bridge, or if coming from south and east, the Forth Road Bridge.
