Posted on

Out-going, enthusiastic and experienced Ceramics Studio Technician required!  This role is based in Stoke-on-Trent and runs for 6 weeks from mid-April to end of May 2015.

Love Productions, the makers of The Great British Bake Off and The Great British Sewing Bee require a studio technician for an exciting new BBC 2 programme about pottery.

Reporting to our Series Consultant, a very experienced potter and ceramics lecturer, your main responsibility will be to oversee the drying and firing of all contestants’ work.  Other duties will include running the studio on filming days and preparing all materials required for filming.

In addition, this role will also require you to be filmed performing all these duties.  You will be required to interact with the contestants, presenter and judges and speak on camera about the processes you are overseeing.

This is a paid role and the rate will depend on experience.

If you DO NOT wish to appear on a TV series then this role is not for you!
