My first experience with clay was in 1998 and I instantaneously fell in love with this medium. I am primarily a self-taught hobby potter from Kinghorn (originally from South Africa). Natural forms and irregular shapes feature strongly in my stoneware ceramics. All my work is hand-built and is created by coiling, pinching or slabbing. To layer colour and texture, I use a variety of glazes, oxides & decorating slip.
