I initially studied Drawing and Painting at Duncan of Jordanstone College of art in Dundee then taught for five years before becoming a full time potter for the last 38 years. I enjoy making practical and functional work and currently make around sixty different forms which can be seen on my website. Everything I make is thrown using my own mix of stoneware body and reduction fired in my gas kiln.
