I live and work full time in Shetland. In my spare time I make my ceramics in the small shed in the garden.
I am a member of the Shetland Arts and Crafts Association.
I make hand thrown ceramics. I collect dig and process clay and raw materials from within Shetland.
All my work is inspired by the beautiful landscape, the colours, the weather
and items I find, whether it’s the colour of the sea or a piece of shell or sea glass.
I make all my own ash glazes, I have developed these textural glazes using the waste material of willow and straw basket makers.
The link to the people, place and environment are important aspects of my work and each piece tells its own story.

My work can be seen in my website, where I also list details of exhibitions, makers markets I will be attending.
I am on the Shetland Craft trail by appointment you can visit the workshop.
I sell work through The Shetland Gallery.
