Join us for a 4-week wheel throwing course with ceramicist Rachel Lau. This course will offer a full introduction to throwing pots on a wheel. You will be shown demonstrations and guided through the making process with practical advice throughout. Your best pots will be decorated and glazed and ready to pick up after the course.
Suitable for beginners and those with prior experience.
Rachel is a ceramic artist and educator with over seven years of experience in wheel throwing, specialising in porcelain. Her practice is particularly influenced by Korean ce-ramics, developed through training with master potters such as Kwak Kyung Tae, Moon Do Bang, and Yoo Sung. Her teaching is enriched by a refined technical skill set in wheel throwing, drawing on techniques from a range of cultural ceramic practices.
