The SPA are delighted to be able to welcome Frances Clarke to The Barony Centre, West Kilbride. This will take the format of a half day workshop.
The piece I will demonstrate is a combination of slab built and other methods i.e. pinch pots or building solid and hollowing out. My construction methods change to suit the piece. My pieces are inspired by my visceral response to the landscape and my walks along the coastline.
Instructions
We are delighted that we can start to meet more safely in person again, even though it is likely that some Covid safety measures will still be applicable. As they are ever changing, details of Covid related safety regulations will be updated nearer the time of the workshop relating to current advice. However at this time, in order to give as many members as possible a chance to attend the demonstration, each member is asked to attend for one day only over the the weekend, either the Saturday or Sunday.
