Understanding how to cost and price your work is one of the most important—and often most challenging—aspects of sustaining a ceramic practice. For the first time, SPA is offering members focused, affordable training in this essential area.
For an incredible £10, you’ll gain access to two linked online workshops led by the highly experienced Carol Sinclair, who will guide you through the realities of time, money, costing, pricing, and understanding your customers.
Carol has balanced her own established ceramic practice (since 1991) with a distinguished career as a business adviser and creative project manager, working with organisations including The Cultural Enterprise Office, Emergents, the British Council, and Applied Arts Scotland. She also led the development of CraftToolkit.com, a free online business-planning resource for craft businesses at all stages.
These sessions are designed specifically for ceramicists at any stage who want greater clarity, confidence, and control over the business side of their work.
