Carol is a ceramics graduate of Grays School of Art in Aberdeen and has been running her own studio for over 30 years. Her work explores the theme of memory and her one off pieces and installations consider the connections we have to one another and our environment. Working predominantly in porcelain, she has recently developed a "Closed Loop" approach to her practice and uses as much of the other materials involved in her making as possible including paper and plastic. She is currently developing a new biodegradable material combining her studio waste with plant based plastic.
