Carol is a ceramics graduate of Grays School of Art in Aberdeen and has been running her own studio for over 30 years. Her work explores the theme of connection, and her one off pieces and installations consider the relationships we have to one another and our environment. Working predominantly in porcelain, she has adopted a "Closed Loop" approach to her practice to minimise waste and make best use of precious resources. She is currently developing a new biodegradable material combining her studio waste with plant based plastic.
