I am George I first tried pottery back in 1997. I worked a few years with my tutor Donald Macintyre at my local community evening classes.I loved the first time I handled the clay and never looked back. I built my own large studio and work from home. I recently run pottery classes for beginners during 2019/23.For the past 6 months iv'e decided to move away from domestic wheel throw pottery to something iv'e always been keen on wild life sculpture work, with the help and tuition from Karen Fawcett a well known wild life sculpture at potfest. Ive made a few sculpture pieces from hares to gannets recently a fox and so far quit successful. So who knows I might even manage pottiest too sometime soon.
