St Andrews Pottery Kilt Walk for Tanzania School

Hi Folks,

I'm George Young from St Andrews Pottery, and on 23rd of April I am taking part in a Kilt Walk to raise funds for a project which is building a secondary school in Tanzania.

This is the school where the SPA contributed to a great project to build a garden in Anne Lightwood’s name which has worked well and continues to progress as the school grows.

Any donations made before the 23rd will have 50% added  by the Kilt Walk organisation so it is a great opportunity to substantially boost whatever is given and can really make a difference.

My plan is to walk a part of the Pilgrim way which runs from North Queensferry to St Andrews and I shall be walking the last section from Clatto Loch to St Andrews, fully Kilted of course!

If you would be kind enough to make a contribution you can do so directly using the following link :

Alternatively you might like to take advantage of contributing by purchasing one of the Bird Feeders I have been making and selling to raise funds.
These can be hung from a bird table or tree and are filled and ready to use so an ideal gift for you or a friend and of course the birds.

They cost £10.00 each all of which will go to the charity remembering that all payments will be increased by 50% by the Kilt Walk organisation if paid before the 23rd of April.

The sprig design is based on a guinea fowl from a local batik and they come with re- filling instructions.

They were originally intended for people who can call in and pick things up from the workshop but they can be sent for a small postage charge of £3.00 for a single pot and £5.00 for more than one. These prices are intended for items sent within the UK.
Payment for the above items can be made by cash, Cheque or BACS payment to:
